Once upon a time there was a Goddess. She helped give life to all things. If it wasn't for her the land would surely die. She had little helpers as well, called Harvest Sprites. She resided in an enchanted pond on a island and if you threw an offering into the pond your wishes were granted. However, people stopped making offerings and they left the island.
Eventually life began to wither on the island....that was until one stormy night. It was raining so hard and the ocean became extremely dangerous for those out in it on boats. Instead of the storm being a curse that took thousands of life, it gave life to the island and it also gave happiness to anything living on it. Why, you ask?
A ship was struck by lighting, thrown side to side by the waves and crashed on this abandoned island. A family of four and two farmers washed up on the shore. They all decided they would restore the island by working hard and living together in harmony!
It all sounded so wonderful. The perfect vacation spot! The island was populated again and the sun was always brighter. The islanders have no idea what caused it, but crops were having a hard time growing and the animals always seemed in distress. The Harvest Sprites began disappearing! Oh dear, dear, dear! The Goddess is losing her power! How in the world is the island going to survive? There are only a select few who can see all these mystical creatures which poses an even bigger problem. Someone must solve this mystery.....

She calls herself "Destati". Destiny, fate, revival, realization, awakening. You see, she has never been one to cope well with the concept of 'boredom'. And, quite frankly, she's beginning to get sick of seeing all these various universes in perfect order, running along organized plotlines and smoothly flowing along neat, unambiguous timelines. There's just too much order and perfection. It's been a while since she has craved a...change, of sorts, from this orderly flawlessness, but then again, she has always been a creature of habit. She has always wanted interesting, different things to happen.
Most uncreatively, a creative idea abruptly strikes her...and, well, hasn't making entertainment always been easier than finding entertainment? So she tugs on the strings of fate that keep every universe in order and in check. Specifically, she tugs on the strings of fate wound around every character, and winds them around her own little universe. She toys with these poor anime, manga, and video game characters and orchestrates a grand story of her own, forcing their worlds to collide into her own little dimension.
Enter Esoterrance Academy, set in the fictional town of Azellius, which is located on an unnamed planet in an equally unnamed universe. The place is a perfect mix of western and eastern cultures to accomodate its new inhabitants. In Destati's own twisted plotline, Esoterrance Academy is one of the most prestigious, renowned boarding schools to have graced the world, and, here's the thing: it's predominantly an art school, with a small smattering of normal students who focus on math and the sciences. Oh, and another yet? Every single character's memory is wiped mostly clean and everyone is altered physically so that they're in their high school years again, even if they may retain their mental maturity. Still, in spite of that, everyone has very few memories of their past life. Everyone's human now. No one retains any former powers they may have had. The only things they get to keep are their personality, talents, and perhaps a few experiences...but even then, any other talents they may have had have probably been converted into artistic talent.
Music, art, photography, theater, dance? The school has it all, and it's an almost bloodthirsty competition when it comes to becoming the absolute best, whether it's the honor of being best artist, singer, musician, photographer. But what of the students themselves? Her machinations have left everyone without memories, albeit with the firm conviction that having no memories is nothing peculiar. Destati's arcane magic has left everything in confused shambles, but perhaps it's better off this way...? Better yet, do you hear that fatal fugue, playing sinisterly in the background? Heh, well. The clock is ticking. Only time can tell what will happen next.

fugue [fyoog, n.] - 1. when a person suffers from loss of memory, often beginning a new life; 2. traditional genre of music conforming to an established form and appealing to critical interest and developed musical taste

[A Roleplay Set In 1967 - The Summer Of Love]
On the same radio stations, they read body counts and play songs about wearing flowers in your hair. They tell you to be loyal and true and then tell you about the acid tests that corrupt the youth by opening their mind. It seems even the media is confused with what the message should be: war or love?
[Spanning From New York To San Francisco And All The Heart Land In Between]
Do you run away and end up in a new world of flower power and free love or is it just dodging the draft for sex and drugs? Should you be a good American boy and go to war, or is life to precious to waste? Where do you go to find these answers when no one seems to want to tell you a d**n thing?
[Hippies, Yippies, Mods, Rockers, Black Panthers, Women's Lib, Straights, Soldiers, Runaways, Drug Addicts: Whatever You Are Open To.]
It's a time of turbulence and a time of liberation. A time of harsh realities and beautiful unrealities. It is nothing and it is whatever you make it.

There are two different worlds, both which co-exist on one earth. A change, so invisible and undetected is happening; those on both sides are noticing it... In the human world, there are frequent murders that are occurring throughout Japan and are known as the “Red Thread phenomenon.” As the police have reported through their investigation, the murders have almost nothing in common besides the red thread tied around the victim’s smallest finger; now the police are beginning to go undercover into the Japanese schools and businesses to see if they can find anything. In addition, there are rumours passing around of being able to kill a person by using this mysterious phone service.
Why are these murders happening, who is committing them? Does this enigmatic phone service have anything do with it? No one seems to know the answer to these questions. Things may have stopped there but they do not. Most humans have not heard of Hoshikuzu Kyu (Stardust Nine), a secret organization of Sentouki who protect the human world by trying to keep the spirit world in order. But even the Sentouki are beginning to notice the numbers of spirits who are crossing over— now they are beginning to ask, why?
There must be some sort of bond between these events that explain what is going on...
In the world of Black Cat, Chronos, an organization bent on world peace, rules one third of the world's economy through underground control of almost every kind of business. To maintain the balance of the world, Chronos is essential, and there is the need for people to protect Chronos. There are special elite assassins with Orichalcum-made weapons called the Chrono Numbers who work for Chronos. When the thirteenth Chrono Number Train Heartnet, also known as Black Cat, meets a Sweeper named Saya Minatsuki, she opens his eyes and helps him see that he has choices as whether to kill his victims or not. He leaves Chronos but Creed Diskenth resents the way that Saya changes the elite assassin's life, so now he is after them both.
As Train deals with the dangers in his life, Sven and Eve try and live their lives normally. Well, as normally as sweepers’ lives are. Rinslet is also around… somewhere. You can find her sneaking around doing different jobs for different reasons.
What will lie ahead for Train and Saya? Will Eve and Sven be able to live their lives peacefully? Where will Rinslet end up? What about all of the other sweepers and the civilians as well? Will Chronos be able to deal with the loss of one of their numbers? And what exactly does Creed have up his sleeve?

Wammy’s House. A home for exceptionally brilliant young orphans. It is run by Quillsh Wammy, sometimes known as Watari, a famous inventor, but managed by Roger Ruvie. It is located in Winchester, England. The orphanage serves as a safe place for the residents to explore their young, intelligent minds. The orphanage educates the children, making certain they are cared for. Things are different. Kira has yet to be heard of, and there are no thoughts of Death Notes or of Shinigami (unless you count the few student’s that happen to know about it). There’s just a laborious competition between Near and Mello, A and B, and other students, who just want to go about with their days.
Although, there is a new case. A case of which have some baffled. It’s no where near important enough for L to take it on, and thus is has been left for the students to solve. A series of kidnappings have started. Normally, it would be easy to solve such a case. Unfortunately, the kidnapper(s) have left no clues behind. And what’s more, it’s not just in one country. It’s in 3. England, Asia, and The United States. Just who is the mastermind of these Kidnappings?
